Omniscient third person narration is kind of a weird thing–an all-knowing being who isn’t directly a character in the story, isn’t seen or heard, yet they’re there and they know everything that is going on, all the thoughts and feelings, and can go anywhere they’d like in the story’s universe?! How is that possible? Who are they exactly if not a character in the story?
